SCHLESINGER Type C Composite Bursting Discs for Pressure or Vacuum

The flat, laser-slotted bursting disc will open up fragment-free in a hinge-like shape in the event of a fault, thus releasing pressure over its entire surface area. This allows the medium to be released without delay. Whether for overpressure and underpressure vacuum this special composite bursting disc (composite rupture disk) reliably allows you to secure your plants, even at low operating pressure from 20 mbar.

COMPOSIT BURSTING DISCS, TYPE C

With Berstscheiben Schlesinger GmbH´s special composite bursting discs for overpressure or underpressure (vacuum), systems can be reliably backed up from 20 mbar even at low response pressures. Using the latest laser technology, we cut special predetermined breaking points in foils of stainless steel, nickel, nickel-based materials (Inconel, Hastelloy) or tantalum with the highest precision and can set the exact bursting pressure required by our customers. We install a precisely fitted PTFE or PFA sealing diaphragm between the slotted metal foils.

Temperature range: -80°C to +200°C (with PTFE/PFA)

Tolerance of Burst pressure: ±10 mbar for <0.1 barg and ±10% for >0.1 barg
